Phoenix Comicon
Phoenix Comicon is really the closest I come to having a convention "home". I tend to lean towards their books and authors programming, but they provide a great mix of comics, cosplay, movie/tv, and pop culture programming.
The biggest news for me was their announcement of Dick Van Dyke as a guest. For a Disney nerd like me, this is a great deal and an opportunity to see someone who meets almost any definition of a pop culture "legend" that you could come up with.
